Norwalk Roofing, Plus the Neighboring Cities We Serve

Our crews look after roofs on homes throughout Norwalk and a ring of nearby cities. Each job begins with a roof inspection. After the work is done, we come back to see how the new roof is settling in and show you how to care for it.

Where Our Crews Work

Most of our work is within a short drive of Norwalk. We regularly look after roofs in Downey, Bellflower, Paramount and Lakewood, and we head east and north to Whittier, South Whittier, Pico Rivera and La Mirada. To the south we cover Cerritos, and Buena Park just across the county line.

Staying close means coming back is easy. A few weeks after we finish, we return to check flashing, sealant lines and drainage, then walk you through simple care for your home's new roof. If a question comes up later, it is a short trip for us to take another look. We speak English and Spanish on every call and visit. For homeowners who prefer to pay over time, Service Finance Company provides financing, subject to credit approval.

What Shapes Roof Work Here

  1. 01

    Housing age and roof styles

Many homes across this part of the county were built in the years after World War II. Low, wide ranch houses are common, often with a shallow-pitch main roof and flat or low-slope sections over patios, garages and additions. Those low areas drain slowly, so we pay close attention to how water leaves them, and we note them in your care instructions.

  2. 02

    Sun and dry heat

Long, bright summers are hard on roofing. Asphalt shingles lose granules and turn brittle, and sealant around vents and skylights dries out and cracks. Clay and concrete tile shrug off the sun, but the felt or synthetic layer under the tiles ages at its own pace. Once that layer gives out, water can reach the deck even while every tile sits neatly in place.

  3. 03

    Winter rain and dry winds

Rain arrives in a few heavy storms rather than steady weeks, so small weak spots tend to show up all at once. Dry fall winds can lift loose shingles and ridge caps. A visit before the wet season gives you time to plan a repair instead of reacting to a stain on the ceiling.

  4. 04

    Permits and energy rules

Most cities around here want a building permit on file before old roofing comes off, and an inspector signs off on the finished work. California's energy code may also call for cool-rated materials when certain roofs are replaced. We file the permit, confirm which rules cover your home and go over the options with you before anything is ordered.

Your Roof, Seen Up Close

Give us a call, let us know your city and anything you have spotted on the roof or ceiling, and we will find a time to visit. The inspection costs nothing, any needed work comes with a written estimate, and we stop back once the job is complete.
